The basic function of the Associate Manager position is to directly manage the productivity of all store staff on behalf of the owner/manager to ensure the store is effectively merchandised to maximize sales/profitability. The Associate Store Manager shares responsibility for labour cost and other key financial measures. The Associate Store Manager assumes overall responsibility for operational effectiveness of the store in absence of the owner/manager.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Replenishment department - Nights within the store.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of a specific department within a store, ensuring sales and profitability goals are met or exceeded. Train and develop associates, maintain appropriate merchandise display and pricing, and ensure department cleanliness. Manage expenses, communicate with management, and lead a diverse team.

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for providing support to the Store Manager and the store teams for execution of all operational directives. This is accomplished through ensuring optimal customer experiences, maximizing sales, expense and cost management, store presentation, and protection of company assets.
