The Manager, Pricing is a key leader responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies that optimize profitability within our asset-based transportation division. This role will leverage data-driven insights and business intelligence to support decision-making, ensuring our transportation solutions remain competitive and efficient. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and finance, to drive innovation, efficiency, and market responsiveness.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, implement, and manage pricing strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring competitive market positioning.
Conduct market analysis and monitor industry trends to adjust pricing models proactively.
Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to understand customer requirements and tailor pricing solutions accordingly.
Ensure pricing models support operational cost structures and capacity utilization.
Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in pricing, data analytics, or business intelligence, preferably in transportation or supply chain logistics.
Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing pricing strategies in an asset-based transportation environment.
Proficient in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and data modeling tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Main Duties:
Lead business intelligence efforts by creating, maintaining, and improving data models, dashboards, and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Use advanced data analytics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities within the transportation network.
Provide actionable insights to leadership to inform strategic decisions, including fleet utilization, route optimization, and customer pricing models.
