We are looking for a Talented Passionate Leader with a proven ability to drive sales, deliver world-class customer experience, and build highly engaged teams for our Assistant Store Manager in Training position. Travel is required between multiple locations.
Job Responsibility:
Complete self-directed development through online modules, on-the-job training, department-specific practicums, projects, and stretch sessions
Anticipate the needs of customers and prioritize customer satisfaction
Lead, coach, and motivate colleagues to achieve success, foster colleague growth, and enable a culture of selling
Participate in community initiatives to build long-term relationships with the community
Maintain merchandising and operational standards, and be accountable for financial objectives
Understand the day-to-day operations of the store
Create action plans to address opportunities in each department
Provide input to the Store Manager to help shape business strategy based on learnings
Experience Requirements:
Exceptional customer service skills and talent for building customer loyalty and community relationships
Proven ability to improve productivity, engagement, and retention
Experience managing store and/or department operations within the grocery industry
Commitment to delivering consistent results in a fast-paced environment
