Job Description:
This position is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, dispensing, and delivery of medications to patients. It requires excellent customer relations skills, leadership abilities, and the ability to provide training and counsel to patients.Job Responsibility:
- Receive, prepare, and deliver medications accurately and timely to patients
- Ensure adequate inventory levels of medication and over-the-counter supplements
- Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly and proactive manner
- Create awareness and educate customers through public relations activities
- Provide timely resolution to patient needs and requests
- Review and control costs within the pharmacy
- Provide training for new and existing pharmacy colleagues
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license
- Superior customer relations skills
- Strong leadership and performance management skills
- Proven ability to build the business through community-based marketing strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems is a plus
