Job Description:
This position is responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering medications accurately and timely to patients. The role also involves maintaining inventory levels, providing patient counseling, conducting public relations activities, resolving patient needs and doctor's requests/issues, managing costs, and providing training for pharmacy colleagues.Job Responsibility:
- Receive, prepare, and deliver medications accurately and timely to patients
- Ensure adequate inventory levels to meet patients' needs
- Counsel patients on new and additional medications
- Create awareness and educate customers through public relations
- Provide timely resolution to patient's needs and doctor's requests/issues
- Review and control costs within the pharmacy
- Provide training for new and existing pharmacy colleagues
Experience Requirements:
Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license required
Superior customer relations skills
Strong leadership and performance management skills
Proven ability to build the business using community based marketing strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems a definite asset
Main Duties:
