Job Description:
This position is responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering medications accurately and timely to patients. The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license. They should have excellent customer relations skills, leadership and performance management skills, and strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy Computer system is a definite asset.Job Responsibility:
- Receiving, preparing, and delivering medications accurately and timely to patients
- Ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet patient's needs
- Counseling patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly and proactive manner
- Creating awareness and educating customers through public relations activities
- Providing timely and positive resolution to patient's needs and doctor's requests/issues
- Reviewing and controlling costs within the pharmacy
- Providing ongoing training for pharmacy colleagues
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Class A Pharmacists license
