Job Description:
Save-On-Foods is hiring for a Wine Advisor position at our White Rock location in Surrey, BC. The Wine Advisor will provide customers with information about wines, make recommendations on tastings and food pairings, provide demonstrations on wine products, ensure the department is well stocked and presented, handle customer service inquiries, and use various equipment.Job Responsibility:
- Providing customers with information about various specially selected wines and making recommendations on tastings and food pairings when required.
- Providing demonstrations on various wine products to engage customers.
- Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
- Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
- Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
- Using a variety of equipment, including knives.
Experience Requirements:
- Serving It Right Certification or willingness to obtain it.
- A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
- A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
- Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
- Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).
